Coaching Marketplace: Can coaches meet with different teams? Dr. Ballings,
Are coaches allowed to work with multiple teams if asked? I have received multiple invitations to coach and don't know if you want coaches
to work exclusively with one team throughout the process.
Also. If we are allowed to work with multiple teams, can we meet with both teams in the same week? I saw that you made a note about only 1
session per week, but am unsure if that was meant for the undergrad students or graduate coaches.
Answers and follow-up questions Answer or follow-up question 1
Yes you can coach multiple groups, but each group can only receive one hour of coaching per week. That is
one of the reasons to keep the spreadsheet up to date.
Also, each coach can only get two credits in total. Four hours of coaching equals two credits. You can spread those hours among
1, 2, 3, or 4 groups.
A coach can work with four groups. That particular coach would then have one session of one hour with each group (can be all in the week).
After that the coach would not be rewarded for any coaching.
A coach can also work with one group, and see that group one hours in the coming four weeks.
Hope that clears things up.
